CostMyNomad is a free, browser-only monthly nomad budget calculator covering 30 hub cities โ with sharp commentary, a cost-per-protein indicator, and a 'coffee-to-stay' ratio nobody asked for.
What we do
Pick a city, set your lifestyle (Airbnb vs long-term, food style, coworking, coffee habit, visa amortization, lifestyle buffer) and we compute your honest monthly burn. Everything runs in your browser; no signup, no database.
Why we built it
Most cost-of-living tools are either spreadsheet exports, single-source averages, or paywalled. We wanted a static, multilingual, partner-friendly model where the city dataset auto-refreshes weekly via GitHub Actions.
How it makes money
Optional Google AdSense + per-city sponsor slots (coworking spaces, visa agencies, language schools, etc.) loaded from public/data/partners.json. When a city has no partner, the slot becomes a generic 'Advertise here' card.
